Collection: Rasiya

Sarees, the treasured pieces of ones’ legacy, transcend the warmth, grace and elegance of family elders.
With changing lifestyles, these heirlooms are worn less and rest more in the wardrobes. This collection is an effort to convert heirloom sarees to garments with zero or minimal cutting.
Inspired from the traditional pichhvais and the emotion of Krishna Leela, this collection
titled ‘RASIYA’ aspires to imbibe the different moods and colors of Krishna & Gopi, of the playfulness, the laughter, the flute and the sound of the ghunghru.

 Part of this collection was a collaboration with @cds.art.foundation and @asif shaikh and
was showcased in the 6th edition of Walking Hand in Hand Fashion Show.
